Highlights from the week:

• Men's 3rd XI getting their first win by 85 runs after being very competitive in playing 3 of the top four teams.

• In the 3rd XI, Michael Rogers has a game to remember with 75 runs off 32 balls and in week 2, takes 4/24 with the ball.

• Sebastian Burleigh making 24 runs in the under 12's, which a score like that could be considered 50+ runs with the limited balls the Under 12's face.

• More known as a wicket keeper, the chirpy Ryder Cavalier takes 4/5 in the Under 14's 20/20 midweek game.

• Jagger Benaim also in the Under 14's is striking form with scores of 57 no, 23 no and also making 32 in the Men's 3rd XI the previous week.

• Our Under 14's are undefeated after three rounds in their Saturday competition after a convincing 7/252 v 5/134 on the weekend. The President was very impressed with the excellent line and length from all the bowlers.

• Our three Under 16 bowlers in Zac Cavalier, Jonty Cavalier and Evan Lindsay all taking a wicket in the A Grade.

• The consistent Hayden Lange captures 3/20 in the Under 16's and backed by a very accurate 1/13 off 8 overs with the Men's 3rd XI.

Each week we will be doing a team of the week for the club. Note the junior scores and their restricted number of balls faced and overs is taken into consideration when picking the team of the week. Many teams bowled this week, so not quite as many high scores from the batsman.
