Ben to play a leading role in the club again

The Club thanks Ben Hancock who has put up his hand again to be our Bar Manager.

Ben works tirelessly around the club and has been an important contributor at many of our Club Committee meetings leading into the new season. His expertise and understanding of this critical area of the club has been extremely welcome for the new Committee.

This season there will be greater analysis of the Bar and Catering area to ensure we fully understand the revenue and expenses in this area by categorising this. There will be further emphasis on events operated from the club itself, as the capability to deliver more funds into the club, then necessarily by sponsorship will be scrutinised. Nevertheless, the club will still have functions away from the clubrooms and looking forward to visiting The Bendigo Club from time to time.

Within the Bar area of the club, we always need more assistance. If any member wants to obtain their Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) certificate so they can assist Ben, the club will reimburse you once receiving the qualification.
