Assistance needed for Marist turf wicket

The club is in desperate need for assistance to Rob Brown in preparing our turf wicket for 2-3 hours per week. Really after two people to assist on different afternoons and evenings for each of those amounts of time.

You don't need to have a knowledge of pitch preparation as Rob will oversee this and provide instructions. It is a relaxing experience watching the roller go over the pitch or giving it a water, so it is fit for play for the weekend and trying to make that perfect wicket.

If you are any of the following you may suitable:

• Retired; or

• Have 2-3 hours spare each week; or

• A parent or friend of a club member; or

• An ex-player of the club; or

• Someone who just is a little fastidious with perfection and grass; or

• Enjoy being outdoors where while looking after the pitch you can bring out the kids for a kick of the ball etc; or

• You may be a younger person who is looking to get into this area with employment down the track.
