Mat takes on the junior coordinator role

The Club takes great pleasure in announcing Mat Lindsay to the role of Junior Coordinator.

It is likely the most important role in the club.

Mat has some big shoes to fill after the wonderful efforts in recent years of Jessica James and Kelly Berry. However, like those people just mentioned, Mat has always been enthusiastic about junior cricket and the passion to drive the club positively.

Off to a flying start, Mat has already been at league meetings, contacting players from last season and last week attended the Melbourne Renegades Roadshow at Maiden Gully Primary School in attracting youngsters to the Blast programs and our Under 11 & 12 teams.

The Committee looks forward to working with Mat this season and sure you will be hearing from him directly in the future.

It would to be great to have an Assistant in this role and someone Mat can also mentor. Succession planning and sharing the workload will be one of the mantras for the Committee this season. If you want to assist, please be in contact with Mat.
